Creative Entrepreneurship, Digital Manufacturing, Human Food Interaction, Sustainable Food Design
A collaboration with Studio Barbara Gollackner (Austria). Tableware is made of food waste and presented in a dinner after a year of researching, experimenting and designing. For this wasteware dinner, the last course is a dessert of which the base is printed by Upprinting Food. The prints were made from beetroot and old bread, flavored with cacao and printed in an organic shape. Filled with a mousse and eaten by hand. No tableware is needed for this last course!
Zero-waste projects related to a dining experience is something that gets my attention. I would love to explore this in future projects, eventually in combination with 3D printing or other digital manufacturing techniques.
